Sohra (Meghalaya), Jan 12: In a heartwarming display of leadership and compassion, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma and Health Minister Ms. Ampareen Lyngdoh stopped to aid tourists from Assam who met with an accident at Mawkdok. The two occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries but were promptly attended to by a doctor accompanying the Chief Minister.
An ambulance was summoned to transport the victims to the hospital for further treatment. This selfless act by the leaders has won the hearts of many, including a witness who expressed gratitude to Ms. Ampareen for her kindness.
This is not the first time Kong Ampareen has been seen helping road accident victims. A witness recalled seeing her bring victims to the civil hospital at midnight, showcasing her commitment to serving the people.
The incident has highlighted the compassionate leadership of Meghalaya’s leaders, who are setting an example for others to follow. Their actions demonstrate that they are truly dedicated to serving the people, even in times of crisis.
