Shillong (Meghalaya), April 01 : In a successful operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya apprehended five Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian nationals near village Pyrdwah in East Khasi Hills on March 31. The Bangladeshi nationals were attempting to infiltrate into Indian territory when they were intercepted by BSF troops.
The two Indian nationals were caught transporting the Bangladeshi nationals in a taxi. BSF has intensified its intelligence and operations along the border to check infiltration, and this operation is a testament to their efforts.
All seven apprehended individuals have been handed over to the Police Station Pynursla (EKH) for further legal action.
