Shillong (Meghalaya), May 20: The Meghalaya High Court, led by Chief Justice I.P. Mukerji, has heard a batch of petitions involving the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, along with others.
The cases pertain to allegations of irregularities in the selection process for Assistant Teachers in Lower Primary Schools in 2008-09.

The compilation is to be filed by June 4, 2025, and the applications will be considered further on June 13, 2025. Interim orders will remain in effect until the disposal of these applications or further orders.
Senior advocate Salman Khurshid and one other is representing the accused, while Dr. N. Mozika, DSGI, and Ms. K. Gurung are appearing for the CBI. The court’s decision will determine the next steps in the case.
