Guwahati(Assam) , June 5 : 44 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the state during the last 24 hours .
In a tweet , Chief Miniter Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 3781 new cases were detected on Saturday out of which 276 were reported from Kamrup (Metro) .
The new cases were detected after conducting 1,15, 968 tests .

He added that the overall positivity percentage for the day was 3.26 % and the recovery rate stood at 86.97 % .
