Shillong (Meghalaya), May 5: In a significant development for students in Meghalaya, the Meghalaya Board of School Education has announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2025. After weeks of anticipation, students can now access their results online or through their respective schools.
The Meghalaya Board of School Education had conducted the HSSLC Examination 2025 for the Arts, Science, Commerce & Vocational Stream from 18th February to 19th March 2025. A total of 29,278 students appeared for the examination across all streams.
The results are as follows:
– Science Stream: 3,922 students appeared, with 3,253 passing (82.94% pass percentage)
– Commerce Stream: 2,501 students appeared, with 2,033 passing (81.28% pass percentage)
– Arts Stream: 22,835 students appeared, with 18,736 passing (82.05% pass percentage)
– Vocational Stream: 20 students appeared, with 17 passing (85% pass percentage)
Saptarshi Bhattacharjee from Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School has secured the top rank in the Science stream, while St Anthony’s has secured the first position in the Commerce stream. St Edmund’s has dominated the Arts stream, holding six out of the top 10 positions.
The results indicate a commendable performance from students across all streams, with the Vocational stream recording the highest pass percentage at 85%. The overall pass percentages for Science, Arts, and Commerce streams are also impressive, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the students.
