Shillong (Meghalaya), May 1: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma inaugurated a two-day National Seminar on Indian Knowledge Systems, emphasizing the need to preserve and promote India’s rich traditional knowledge.
He highlighted the significance of integrating material and spiritual aspects of Indian Knowledge Systems, citing Meghalaya’s successful blend of traditional and modern practices as a model.
The seminar, organized by Lady Keane College’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell, brought together experts to discuss the importance of traditional knowledge in various fields, including healthcare, agriculture, conservation, and governance. The Chief Minister’s initiative aims to promote sustainable and effective systems by merging traditional knowledge with modern approaches.
