Imphal, Aug 24: Manipur witnessed fresh violence today.
A CRPF jawan was seriously injured after being caught in crossfire between two-armed militant groups at Taphou Naga in Senapati district. He was rushed to Senapati district hospital and is stated to be out of danger.

Hours later, over 12 houses were torched at Taphou Naga. Angry villagers blocked Senapati Gate and burnt logs and tyres on National Highway 2.
The administration has strongly condemned the arson and demanded immediate action against those involved.
