Shillong (Meghalaya), March 13: The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya has successfully intercepted and apprehended four Bangladeshi nationals, including a tout, attempting to infiltrate into Indian territory near the International Border in South Garo Hills.
Acting on specific intelligence, BSF troops launched an operation and intercepted a Tata Winger vehicle suspected of facilitating the illegal crossing. The vehicle was seized, and the four Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended.
The apprehended individuals are being questioned, and further investigation is underway. The BSF’s swift action has foiled yet another infiltration bid, ensuring the security of the region.
