Shillong(Meghalaya), Mar 15 : A group of unidentified miscreants unleashed a reign of terror in Kenches Tra ce Rilbong on the day of Holi, leaving several people injured. According to police sources, the miscreants entered the locality near Shillong Times, targeting the parking lot, and began assaulting innocent bystanders with blows and sticks.
Multiple people suffered injuries to their faces and heads, with around half a dozen requiring medical attention. The police have confirmed that the culprits were from outside the locality, but their motives remain unknown.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged, and the police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators. No arrests have been made yet. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and the police are working to bring the culprits to justice.
