New Delhi, Oct 10: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday and discussed a host of state-related issues.
Calling it a privilege, Singh said PM Modi’s visionary leadership inspires the commitment to build a peaceful, prosperous and Viksit Manipur as part of Viksit Bharat.
The Chief Minister, camping in the capital, also called on Home Minister Amit Shah, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, who assured they would visit Manipur soon.
Shah on Thursday had assured full central support to restore peace and lauded the state government’s steps, including resumption of inter-state bus services between Manipur, Assam and Nagaland from August 21 after a three-year gap.
