New Delhi Oct 9: New Delhi turns into a full scale war zone a day ahead of the CJP’s much-hyped massive protest at Jantar Mantar demanding immediate resignation of CJP alleging utter electoral mismanagement. Apart from Delhi police, over 30,000 additional security forces have been deployed to contain the CJP-led protest.
According to information, a number of trains to New Delhi have been restricted from Friday to Saturday and the Delhi Police have urged the Delhi Metro Corporation authority to close down over 3 dozen metro stations in and around Jantar Mantar.
On the other hand, ahead of CJP’s Oct 10 protest in Delhi, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Founder Abhijeet Dipke says, “Humara andolan ho kar rahega. Jantar Mantar is a designated protest site; Article 19 gives the fundamental right to protest. So, what is the need to get permission? Did they take permission before deleting 13 crore votes? You want that we should not agitate against those who are rigging elections? This cannot be possible. The country cannot run like this. To save the nation, we will protest.”
