Shillong ( Meghalaya), Feb 18 : Four of the five Congress MLAs who were suspended by the Congress high command for extending support to the MDA government have been given new positions in the government .
Mawlai MLA PT Sawkmie and West Shillong MLA Mohendro Rapsang were appointed as co-chairman of Meghalaya New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (MNREDA), Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem was appointed the co-chairman of Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and Rambrai-Jyrngam MLA Kimfa Marbaniang as co-chairman of Meghalaya Government Construction Company (MGCC).

However , East Shillong MLA Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh’s name did not figure out in the latest list of appointments .
