Shillong ( Meghalaya), June 7 : 5 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections taking the death toll to 669 .
Among the new deaths , 5 were reported from East Khasi Hills , 2 from West Khasi Hills and 1 from Ri -Bhoi district .

The state also recorded 438 new cases which included 206 from East Khasi Hills and 115 from West Jaintia Hills .
A total of 689 Covid -19 patients who were undergoing treatment were discharged today after recovery .
The active cases as of now stands at 5, 327 .
