Shillong (Meghalaya), June 14: Police said two bodies, a male and female, were found hanging inside a shed near Shillong-Jowai Road at Lumsohphoh around 7 AM today.
The deceased have been identified as Miss Pronome Hajong, 22, of Balat, South West Khasi Hills, and Semanto Hajong, 21, of Ranikor, South West Khasi Hills.
Both bodies were shifted to NEIGRIHMS for post-mortem examination. Preliminary inquest suggests suicide, though police said the post-mortem report will confirm the cause of death.

An unnatural death case has been registered at Laitumkhrah Police Station. Further investigation is underway.
