Shillong (Meghalaya), Sept 29 : 1 more Covid death was reported in East Khasi Hills District of the state today taking the death toll in the state to 47 .
As per new policy the identity of the deceased patient was not revealed by the state Health department .
Meanwhile , a total of 101 new cases were detected in the state today taking the total number of active cases in the state to 1,476 .
Among the new cases 54 are from East Khasi Hills ( Armed Forces 5 , General public 49 ) ; 37 from West Khasi Hills (Armed Forces 12 , General Public 25) ; 4 from West Jaintia Hills , 2 each from Ri Bhoi District and South West Garo Hills and 1 each from East Jaintia Hills and East Garo Hills .
A total of 72 patients were declared recovered on Tuesday .
