Guwahati(Assam), July 17 : One more critically ill Covid patient succumbed to his infections at the ICU of Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Friday taking the death toll to 51 .

According to official sources 75 -year -old Sunil Roy hailing from Kamrup Metro succumbed to Covid on Friday evening .
Confirming the death , Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “It is extremely saddening to share that Shri Sunil Roy (75) from Kamrup Metro admitted at GMCH succumbed to #COVID19 in the evening today. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to the bereaved family & friends.”
