Kokrajhar(Assam), Aug 23 : Kokrajhar SP Rakesh Roushan and his wife tested Covid -19 positive today .
The Assam police has been badly affected due to the Covid -19 pandemic which not spared Police personnel from all ranks .
The DGP , Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta had earlier tested positive for Covid 19 .
So far more 3310 Assam police personnel have tested positive for the corona-virus infection and 11 police personnel have succumbed to the infection .
2698 personnel have recovered and some of them have joined back their duty .
ADGP(Law & Order ) , G P Singh tweeted , ” 3310 personnel have tested positive till date. 2698 have recovered. Unfortunately, we’ve lost Eleven colleagues till date. @DGPAssamPolice @nhm_assam @CMOfficeAssam
