Guwahati (Assam), April 13 : The state registered one more COVID19 positive taking the tally to 31.
The patient was from Goalpara district of the state .
Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that the infected person had connections with people who visited Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi.
Dr .Sarma tweeted at 11.52 : “Alert ~ A person from Goalpara, and secondary contact of people associated with #NizamuddinMarkaz, has been confirmed as #COVID19 positive.”
“The total number of #Covid patients in #Assam now stands at 31,” he added.
