Shillong (Meghalaya), April 14 : Just after a doctor tested positive of COVID – 19 in Bethany Hospital here and the entire hospital sealed on Monday, a 26 -year old patient who was undergoing treatment committed suicide early this morning .

The patient ,Paimingstar Jyrwa hailing from Jakrem in West Khasi Hills district of the state jumped from the window of his cabin and died on the spot .
According to police, the young man was a drug addict and was under treatment to detoxify from drugs .
