Shillong(Meghalaya), April 30 : The High Court of Meghalaya heard a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) concerning the development and expansion of the Shillong Airport to accommodate larger jet aircraft. The case was presided over by a bench comprising Chief Justice I.P. Mukerji and Justice W. Diengdoh.
The court proceedings involved discussions on enhancing the airport’s infrastructure to support bigger aircraft, which would improve connectivity and facilitate smoother travel to and from Shillong.
