Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 27: In a bid to fortify its crusade against substance abuse, the Mission Director of the Drug Reduction Elimination & Action Mission (DREAM) is leading an 11-member delegation to Kerala for a three-day learning exposure visit. This strategic move aims to harness Kerala’s pioneering rehabilitation methodologies, awareness campaigns, and collaborative police strategies to combat substance abuse.
The delegation comprises a diverse group of experts, including rehabilitation specialists, senior health officials, a psychiatrist, and a senior medical and health officer trained in substance use disorder.
