Shillong (Meghalaya), Feb 18: A joint operation by the Assam-Nagaland-Meghalaya Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) and East Khasi Hills district police led to the arrest of three individuals and seizure of 83 vials of heroin weighing 9.84g in Lum Survey early this morning.

The accused, Ashad Ali, Jaharuddin, and Bishu Barman, have been booked under the NDPS Act. Six others are being questioned for lacking documents to prove their citizenship.
