Tura,(Meghalaya) ,July 16: Forest officials from the Dainadubi Forest Range Office in North Garo Hills (NGH) apprehended a Maruti van while it was carrying illegal timber early morning yesterday, July 15.
According to forest officials, the van was abandoned by its occupants after it was stopped by forest officials at about 6 AM yesterday.

The vehicle and the timber it carried inside have been seized by the department with the same expected to go to Court after a case was filed on the matter.
