Guwahati(Assam), June 27 : A total of 1523 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state and 37 more patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours .
The new cases were detected after conducting 55,131 tests .
Among the new cases Kamrup(Metro) reported 149 cases .

The overall positivity percentage for the day stood at 2.76 % and the recovery rate was 93.69 % .
