Shillong (Meghalaya ), Dec 5 : Madanrting locality of Shillong reported 34 new cases today, being the highest in the entire East Khasi Hills.
The state today recorded 97 new cases and the active cases now stand at 654 .

Among the new cases , East Khasi Hills reported 82 cases (AF 9 and 73 others ) , West Garo Hills 9 cases , West Jaintia Hills 5 and Ri Bhoi 1 case .
A total of 73 patients were declared recovered today .
