Kokrajhar (Assam) ,Nov 20: Kokrajhar Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania slammed BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary and Assam Health and education minister Dr .Himanta Biswa Sarma for politicizing over BTC council elections and said that both the leaders are politically garnering to woo voters in the region.

On Friday, Sarania campaigned at Hari Bazar under Salakati constituency in Kokrajhar district in support of party candidate Sanjay Sarania.

During his speech ,he claimed that his Gana Suraksha Party( GSP) party would be winning with absolute majority in the BTC council elections to form the next Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly.

MP Naba Sarania (Heera) who is also president of Gana Suraksha Party has termed both BPF president Hagrama Mohilary and Health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as ‘ Big Dacoits ‘ who are now exchanging war of words during the BTC elections campaigning across the four districts.

Notably, the GSP is contesting in 35 seats in the council elections. The UPPL contesting in 40, BPF 37, BJP in 26,Congress 13,AIUDF 7 in the council elections.

Sarania was confident that his GSP is winning over 25 seats in the BTC council elections scheduled on Dec 7 and 10 next .

He said that most of the constituencies in the council elections,GSP party candidates are getting people’s mass support.

He alleged that BPF ruled BTAD administration has failed to work for the welfare and development of the common masses in their 17 years of rule.

He said that no party can form the BTC council except GSP .

“We are going to form the BTC council with absolute majority .We shall dedicate ourselves for all round development and welfare for all communities if our party is voted to the power”, Sarania said.

He said that the ongoing exchange of war of words between BJP and BPF is a gimmick to attract the common masses during the BTC council elections.

He has said that the rift between BJP and BPF are like domestic quarrel between a wife and a husband.

He said that GSP is getting massive support from all sections of communities in the BTC for the council elections and is sure to be part of the next council .
