Guwahati (Assam), Nov 19 : Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda will hand over his official Twitter account to an 18 -year girl student Vandana Urang on Friday for 2 hours as a gesture to support Children’s empowerment .
Vandana who is a B .A 1 year semester student at Namroop College will take over the CM’s Twitter account between 9 – 11 am on Friday and shall share her opinion on #Reimagining Education in Assam, in a post-pandemic world.
Vandan belongs to the tea garden community and is from Namroop Tea Estate in Dibrugarh district of the state .
CM Sonowal tweeted , “This #WorldChildrensDay, student Vandana Urang is taking over our twitter handle. Join us tomorrow, November 20, from 9 AM to 11 AM and know how children are re-imagining the world.”
During the two hours , Sonowal, who will be attending the BJP State election meeting with party president J P Nadda and other party leaders.
