Guwahati (Assam) , Aug 16 : 7 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the state today taking the death toll due to Covid -19 in the state to 189 .
The 7 Covid patients have been identified as Muhibuddin Ahmed (63) of Sivasagar; Ashutosh Dey (72) of Cachar; Hala Ramchiary (49) of Baksa; Dilip Bhagawati (53) of Darrang; Pradip Ram Singh Rajuwar (53) Bhupendra Gupta (32) of Dibrugarh; Tarun Brahma (55) of Kokrajhar .

The Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has condoled the demise of the patients and have sent his condolences to the bereaved families .
