2 more deaths due to Covid in Assam, death toll moves to 14

Guwahati (Assam), July 2 : Two more Covid positive patients passed away in the state today .

With this, the death toll due to Covid 19 in the state has gone up to 14 .

The patients have been identified as Prabhudayal Vidawatka aged 78 years and Subash Kalita aged 56 years .

Both the patients succumbed to Covid 19 due comorbidities .

Confirming the news , Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “With heavy heart, I share this with you all ~ We’ve lost two precious lives to the pandemic.

Late Prabhudayal Vidawatka (78) & Late Subhash Kalita (56), with comorbidities succumbed to #COVID19.

My prayers and condolences are with Vidawatka and Kalita families.”
