Kokrajhar(Assam),Dec 15: The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) led alliance UPPL-BJP-GSP government in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) organised an interactive session with physically challenged people to mark one year completion of the government.
Three memorandum of understanding (MoUs ) was signed on the occasion of the first anniversary of the government including NE center for technology application and reach (NECTAR), the Centre for Effective Governance of Indian states (CEGIS) and Bodoland Territorial Region and Bodoland Territorial Region government.
The first anniversary was held today under the leadership of BTR CEM Pramod Boro. to mark the successful completion of one year of the government In 2020 which took oath of office last year on Dec 15.
A BTR-UNICEF programme management unit was ceremonially launched today at a programme held at BTC Secretariat complex.
CEM Pramod Boro ceremonially launched the management unit in the presence of BTR executive members, officials from UNICEF at the BTC Secretariat.
Boro lauded the initiative taken by UNICEF in bringing healthy welfare and development of the society in the region.
He said that it is an initiative of government of BTR with technical support from UNICEF towards the enhancement of development and welfare among the communities.
Boro said that his government has been emphasizing on good effective governance in the region and added that the BTR government is establishing community schools across the region to ensure quality educational environment.
” Good educational environment and upliftment of society would be top priority in the BTR districts”, Boro said.
Boro informed that BTR government has launched various missions including textile mission ,skill development mission, piggery mission for earning livelihood across the districts.
He said that UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government is fully committed to work for all round development of the citizens.
He has also attended at an interaction with journalists of Kokrajhar district.
