Guwahati (Assam) , July , 15 : A total of 859 Covid cases were detected in the state of Tuesday out which 627 cases were from the capital city alone .
With this the total number of cases in the state has gone up to 18666.
On Tuesday ,six more critically ill Covid patients in the state succumbed to their infections taking the death toll to 46.
The patients who succumbed to their infections are Sneha Mall aged 36 years , Litu Kumar Bora aged 37 years , Sarat Ch Saharia aged 60 years , Upendra Nath aged 62 years , Pramod Ranjan Saha aged 73 years & Subhakaran Dudheria aged 73 years.
Their deaths have been certified by the Covid Death Audit Board report .
On a good note , a total of 757 patients were discharged from various hospitals on Tueday taking the total number of discharged patients to 12173 .
The Health Minister tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 859 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam, 627 in Guwahati alone. Take care & precautions.”
