Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 31 : Meghalaya government will continue to regulate the entry of people from outside the state due the recent spike in Covid -19 cases in the state .
The state Deputy Chief Minister , Prestone Tynsong said that the state government would continue to regulate the entry of people into the state due to the recent spike in Covid -19 cases.
He said imposing restrictions does not mean that the state government is against the Union Ministry of Home which has directed that there would be no restrictions on inter -state movement .
The Deputy CM also informed that another round of discussion would be held soon with various religious leaders in the state as to decide when to open the place of worship .
