Williamnagar(Meghalaya), May 27: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has given a boost to sports infrastructure in East Garo Hills with the inauguration of the district’s first synthetic artificial turf at Rongrenggre Playground. This development is expected to benefit the local youth and promote football in the region.

The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s ambitious plan to have over 50 synthetic turfs across the state, with 25 currently under construction and 35 more to be sanctioned.
