New Delhi, May 12: In a landmark address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today declared that India has taken a decisive stance against terrorism, marking a new era in counter-terrorism measures. The Prime Minister dedicated the success of Operation Sindoor to India’s Nari Shakti, emphasizing the nation’s unwavering commitment to protecting its women.
PM Modi revealed that India has taken decisive action against terrorist hideouts and training centers in Pakistan, eliminating over 100 dangerous terrorists. He condemned the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, describing it as a gruesome display of terror that shocked the nation and the world.
Operation Sindoor has set a new benchmark in counter-terrorism measures, marking a decisive shift in India’s strategic approach, said PM Modi. He emphasized that India will not tolerate terror and will retaliate with precision and decisiveness, targeting terror hubs at their roots.
The Prime Minister criticized Pakistan’s role in nurturing terrorism, warning that such actions will eventually lead to Pakistan’s own downfall. He urged Pakistan to dismantle its terror infrastructure, emphasizing that there is no other path to peace.
India will respond strongly to terrorist attacks on its own terms, PM Modi said, adding that the nation will not be intimidated by nuclear threats. He emphasized that India would treat terrorist leaders and governments sheltering them as a single entity.
Zero tolerance against terrorism is the guarantee of a better and safer world, PM Modi asserted. He emphasized that terror and talks cannot coexist, terror and trade cannot run parallel, and blood and water cannot flow together.
The Prime Minister urged the global community to recognize that any discussions with Pakistan will focus solely on terrorism and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
PM Modi saluted the valor of the Indian armed forces and expressed his deep respect for the courage and unity of the people of India. He emphasized that India’s strength is its greatest asset in the fight against terrorism, and the nation will continue to take decisive steps to safeguard its citizens against any threat.
