Shillong (Meghalaya), May 30: The North East Centre for Community Impact and Engagement (NE-CCIE) at IIM Shillong successfully conducted a teacher development workshop on “Future-Ready Classrooms” at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School here.
The full-day workshop, facilitated by internationally renowned educator Dr. Cassie De-Fillipo, aimed to empower higher secondary educators with practical tools in communication, student engagement, and emerging classroom technologies.
A total of 29 teachers from across Shillong participated in the workshop, gaining valuable insights and skills to improve their teaching practices and create effective, inclusive, and future-ready learning environments.
The workshop introduced strategies to enhance student participation and modernize classroom delivery, equipping teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to shape the future of education in the region.
