Shillong, Sep 11: Captain Hardy Cliff Nongbri struck four times as Nongkseh demolished Meghalaya Police 7-1 in the Shillong Premier League at SSA Stadium today.
It was the biggest win of SPL 2026 and the first hat-trick of the season.
Nongbri scored in the 5th, 12th, 55th and 87th minutes, with Kitboklang Pale (42’), Shano Tariang (61’) and Aenam Jyrwa (65’) adding the others. Bisharlang Kharumnuid (78’) got the consolation for Police.
From 8th with just 4 points and 2 goals in 4 games, Nongkseh jumped to 4th on 7 points with a +5 goal difference. MLP, also on 7 points, slipped to 6th.
