New Delhi, May 15: Finally, the Centre on Friday hiked the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 3 per litre each across the country even after denying any adverse impact on the West Asian crisis.
The petrol prices in Delhi have gone up from Rs 94.77 to Rs 97.77 per litre and diesel prices has been hiked from Rs 87.67 to Rs 90.67 per litre.
The hike has come into effect amid the deepening crisis at the Strait of Hormuz because of the US-Iran conflict.
Notably, On May 12, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri said that India’s fuel prices would be stable even after the West Asia conflict
