Shillong (Meghalaya), April 20: Nongkseh SSCC crushed Umkaber SCC 13-0 at the SSA Stadium Monday as all five Shillong clubs won to top their groups in the 5th Meghalaya State League.
Chesterpaul Lyngdoh and Shano Tariang scored hat-tricks each for Nongkseh. Umkaber went to 10 men after a 30th-minute red card and conceded 10 more goals.
Defending champions Mawlai beat Lamin XI 6-1 in Amlarem behind a Damanbhalang Chyne hat-trick. Nangkiew Irat downed Mawphu 3-0 at the MFA Ground. Shillong Lajong won 3-1 against Lamyrsiang in Wahiajer. Rangdajied United beat Seng Samla Umdang Pyllun 3-1 in Mawkyrwat.
In other results, A’chik SCO Rongjeng beat Attong Matgrik 3-0, Umlakro edged Mishon SSCC 1-0, and Ladthadlaboh drew 2-2 with Jalaphet Moochut Pyrdung after trailing 2-0.
