Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 7: In a significant boost to its global presence, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with James Cook University (JCU), Singapore.
The 25th international collaboration for IIM Shillong, this partnership aims to enhance academic excellence through joint research projects, foster cultural exchanges and co-curricular activities and develop innovative academic programs, including exchange opportunities and joint degrees.
“IIM Shillong is committed to providing global opportunities to our students and faculty,” said Professor D P Goyal, Director, IIM Shillong. “This partnership with JCU, Singapore, reinforces our vision.”
Professor Peter Scott, Vice-Chancellor, James Cook University, Singapore, added: “We look forward to sharing knowledge and expertise to create a globally competent workforce.”
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both institutions, marking a new era of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
