Shillong ( Meghalaya ), Mar 12 : Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma was administered the first dose of Covid vaccine today here at the Civil Hospital .
Sharing a picture of himself, CM wrote, “Took my 1st #CovidVaccine shot at Civil Hospital, Shillong today. I encourage all our frontline workers and senior citizens to take the vaccine for their protection.”
Earlier on Dec 11 last year, Conrad had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and had mild symptoms and was under home isolation.

Meanwhile, the state reported two new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, pushing the coronavirus tally in the state to 13,985.
The state now has 19 active COVID-19 cases.
