Guwahati( Assam), July 14 : A total of 1001 new Covid cases were detected in the state today out which 513 are from Guwahati city alone .
With this the total number of cases in the state has gone up to 17807 .
On Monday 4 persons infected with the deadly virus passed away which included a doctor from Guwahati Medical College Hospital .
The victims include Uttam Das aged 31 years from Golaghat ,Kesab Kumar Barua aged 62 from Kamrup Metro , Kartik Kalita aged 30 years from Kamrup Metro and Dr. Jahan Iqbal Ahmed aged 50 from Guwahati.
The Health Minister tweeted , ” 📌Alert ~ 1001 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam, 513 in Guwahati alone.Keep patience & take required precautions. Don’t panic, for this too shall pass!”
