Guwahati(Assam), July 11 : An alarming situation continues in the state as far as Covid pandemic is concerned with a total of 936 new cases detected on Friday out which 521 cases are from Guwahati city alone .
Guwahati city and other parts of the state are presently under lockdown to control the pandemic .
There were 8 Covid death recorded in the capital city on Friday .
The State Health Minister will address the media on Saturday to make some crucial announcements on what further steps would be initiated by the government to control the pandemic .
Health Minister tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 936 new #COVID ve+ cases in Assam, 521 in Guwahati alone. Times are trying, indeed. With vigilance, precautions & care, we shall overcome. ”
