Guwahati(Assam) , Sept 20 : A total of 1227 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Sunday taking the total number of cases to 156680 .
Among the new cases 327 were reported from Kamrup Metro and 114 from Jorhat .
Today , 14 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections at various hospital across the state taking the death toll to 562 .

Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 1227 #COVID cases detected today out of 19318 tests.
