Guwahati (Assam), Mar 21 : Various parts in Assam including capital Guwahati and neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh experienced mild tremors of Magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale at 5:52 pm on Sunday .
National Center for Seismology (NCS) in a tweet said the earthquake occurred in Nagaon at a depth of 25 km (Latitude: 26.53 and Longitude: 92.58).

On Sunday morning , an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter Scale shook Mokokchung in Nagaland.
