Guwahati(Assam) , May 26 : A total number of 47 fresh cases were reported on Tuesday morning taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 595 .
Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma said out of the fresh 47 cases , 21 are from Golaghat , 4 from Lakhimpur , 8 from Morigaon , 3 from Goalpara , 1 from Hojai , 1 from MMCH , 2 from Karbi Anglong and 5 from Nagaon.
The active cases stand at 526 and 62 persons have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery .
The Ministe tweeted at 10 .30 am , ” 📌Alert ~ 47 new cases of #COVID19+ reported.21 Golaghat, 4 Lakhimpur, 8 Morigaon, Goalpara 3, Hojai 1, MMCH 1, Karbi Anglong 2, Nagaon 5”.
