Shillong (Meghalaya), June 26: In a significant development in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, three co-accused individuals, Lokendra Singh Tomar, Silome James, and Balbir Ahirbar, were produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate and sent to six days of police custody.
The accused, a flat owner, property dealer, and security guard, respectively, were brought to Shillong from Indore as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, an Indore-based businessman who was killed during his honeymoon in Sohra.
According to police, the murder was allegedly planned by the victim’s wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, and her lover, Raj Singh Kushwaha. Silome James is accused of destroying and concealing crucial evidence related to the crime.
The police are expected to further interrogate the accused and gather more evidence during their custody. The investigation into Raja Raghuvanshi’s murder continues, with the authorities working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the crime.
