Shillong (Meghalaya), June 25: Official sources investigating the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, have revealed that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recovered a country-made pistol with two magazines and two .32 ammunition from a stream. The recovery was made based on information provided by the accused, Silom James, who is a co-accused in the case.
According to insiders close to the investigation, the SIT also recovered Rs 50,000 from James’ I10 car (MP09WG 2352), which he claimed was taken from the laptop bag of Raj. The laptop bag was found burnt, and the laptop itself was allegedly thrown on the roadside and couldn’t be found.
The SIT’s findings have shed new light on the case, and official sources suggest that the investigation team is working to gather more evidence and piece together the events surrounding the murder.
