Guwahati (Assam) , Sept 3 : An alarming number of 3054 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Thursday taking the total number of cases in the state to 118333 cases .
Among the new cases 735 were reported from Kamrup Metro, 198 from Dibrugarh ,192 from Cachar and 176 from Hojai.
Confirming the cases Health Minister , Himanta B Sarma tweeted ,” 📌Alert ~ 3054 #COVID cases detected today out of 48846 tests done in last 24 hours
