Shillong (Meghalaya), June 10: Meghalaya will host the North East India Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition on 15-16 June at Lariti Performing Centre, Mawkasiang, bringing together all eight northeastern states, eight Union Ministries and over 800 delegates.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the summit as Chief Guest, with Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma as Guest of Honour. Organised by FINER with Build India as co-organiser, the event will focus on Roads and Highways, Tourism, Industrial and Digital Infrastructure, Aviation and Ports.
More than 300 senior officials, investors, industry leaders and 60 national exhibitors are expected to attend. Ministries including Road Transport, Civil Aviation, Commerce, DPIIT, Communications and DoNER, Food Processing, Ports and Tourism will take part.
FINER said the summit aims to unlock investment, strengthen public-private collaboration and push sustainable development across the region. Knowledge partners include IIM Shillong, HVS Anarock and Invest India.
