Shillong(Meghalaya), Jan 17: Meghalaya Police Academy situated at Umran has been awarded the best Non-Gazetted Training Institute in the Northeast Zone for the year 2020-21 by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.

Meanwhile , Chief Minister Conrad Sangma congratulated the Police Training School, Umran for being awarded the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for the ‘Best Non Gazetted Training Institute in the North East Zone’.
